Artist Statement
With sculpting, I can take the emotions inside of me, and put them into the clay, making a piece that shows how I feel. In my art, I try to show emotion through parts of the human figure. Specifically, emotions of anxiety, depression, and loneliness. Making art helps calm me and lets me describe myself in a way that words can’t.
